Privacy policy
Translation for convenience. The binding version of this document is the Spanish one; if the two differ, the Spanish text applies.
This policy explains what data Krivo uses, what for, who we share it with and what you can do about it. It covers the iPhone and Android app and the site youmeus.molverine.com.
Who is responsible for your data
Molverine Corp is the controller. For any question or request about your data, write to privacy@molverine.com.
What data we use
Account: your email address and your name. The email is used to send you the sign-in code; there are no passwords.
Profile, if you choose to fill it in: pronoun and birthday.
Couple: who the couple are, since when you have been together, and the invitations you send.
Content you create together: tasks, lists, calendar events, answers to the question of the day, votes, wishes and what you note about yourself in "Good to know".
Device: an identifier of the installation, the token used to send you notifications, the platform and app version, and your notification preferences.
Subscription: which Premium plan is active and until when. We do not receive your card details: payments are processed by Apple or Google.
Consents: which version of these documents you accepted and when, and the confirmation that you are 17 or older.
What we use it for
To make the app work: signing in, sharing the space with your partner, syncing between phones and sending the alerts you chose.
For Premium: knowing whether your partner has an active subscription, no matter who paid for it.
For security: preventing improper access and abuse, and making backups.
We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, we do not sell it, and we use no advertising, attribution or cross-app tracking tools.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your data because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for when you created your account. Optional profile data and notifications depend on your choice, and you can withdraw them whenever you want.
Who we share it with
Only with providers who process it on our behalf and for the stated purpose:
Brevo, to send the email with your sign-in code (receives your email address).
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, to deliver notifications (receives the device token and the text of the alert).
RevenueCat, to manage the subscription (receives your user identifier and the state of your purchases).
Apple and Google, who process payments in their stores.
Our server provider, where the data is stored.
Besides that, what you create in the shared space is seen by your partner. What is yours alone, such as a gift set aside for your partner, is seen by nobody else.
We may hand over data if a competent authority requires it in accordance with the law.
Where it is stored
On a server in the United States that we administer ourselves, over encrypted connections. Some of the providers listed above also process data outside your country. By using the app, your data is transferred to those countries with the safeguards those providers offer.
For how long
For as long as you have an account. If you delete it, you have seven days to change your mind; after that we erase your profile, your personal data and your devices. What you created together stays with your partner, with no name attached to it.
What you delete in the app is erased completely within about fourteen days.
Backups are kept for fourteen days.
The file with your data that you can download is deleted after 24 hours.
If you separate, each of you keeps their own copy of what you created together.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, download it as a file, object to its use and erase it. Almost all of it is done from the app: Profile, Your data. You can also delete your account at https://youmeus.molverine.com/eliminar-cuenta or by writing to privacy@molverine.com. We answer within 30 days at most. If you disagree with our answer, you can turn to the data protection authority of your country.
Minors
The app is for people aged 17 and over. We do not ask for data from anyone who says they are a minor and, if we learn that a minor created an account, we delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections, sign-in by one-time code, limits against repeated attempts and restricted access to the servers. No system is perfect: if an incident affects your data, we will tell you.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, we publish the new version on this page with its date, and we tell you in the app when the change is important.
